Early this afternoon in Gettysburg, PA… Rick Santorum called for a Press Conference in which he soon after gave a subtle… graceful speech… and in the end, suspended his Presidential Campaign.

Well… There was no surprises here in the election results in Kansas this Saturday but I must say Rick is doing a LOT better than I would have ever thought after the last Debate a few weeks back and all the gaffs he made thereafter. He DID come off the Number ONE mark after all that and let Mitt back in on TOP. But Rick didn’t fall off the map like I thought he was going to… at all. Time will tell in the weeks ahead as to just how well he does… but so far so good for he.

Now… My man NEWT is still in the game but we GOT to have some wins this coming Tuesday. Looking good for us so far I might add… though Romney is getting a little to close if not past us in one state.

Work-um hard NEWT -- AND WIN!!!

Newt said tonight in his speech that he was the tortoise of this election year… Watching Mitt, slowly but surely adding up wins and raking in more and more Delegates… I’d have to say that title goes to he!

Now that the “Super Tuesday” Winners are all in… sure is looking to be this RACE is not anywhere near to being over. But… I must say that the writing on the wall is becoming more clear, but not in concrete as of yet.

.

Right now… to me at least… It really does seem to be Mitt’s TIME… He’s just going to have to keep fighting for it for a good bit longer.

.

As of now… I still have NEWT’s back! But if he can’t do well in the next three elections coming up this month, in the South on top of it, (Kansas/Mississippi/Alabama,) WELL-- One might just have to FINALLY reconsider their thinking on all of this.

Today’s Washington Caucuses were a nonbinding contest that if nothing else… just might create a little momentum for one or more of the four candidates on their way into next week’s Super Tuesday. We shall see… I for one though really do not see there being enough time left between Washington and Super Tuesday to make that much of difference!

Loser tonight… That would have to be Ron Paul who spent time and was really looking for a strong finish here tonight, a FIRST Place Finish. Didn’t happen… Not even close!

- Mitt Romney wins the Michigan and Arizona Republican Presidential Primaries (and as of 11:50pm CST… and note I’ll update these figures if needed on Wed.,) received 41% of the vote in Michigan and 47% of the vote in Arizona.

- Rick Santorum came in 2^nd in BOTH States… Not bad my man… with 38% of the vote in Michigan and 27% of the vote in Arizona.

- Ron Paul… He pulled out a 3^rd place finish in Michigan with 12% of the vote and a distance last place finish, 4^th Place in Arizona with only 08% of the vote.

- Newt… He came in last in Michigan… with 07% of the vote. But we got some good news tonight at least… He got a 3^rd Place Finish in Arizona with 16% of the vote. Now… this was an expected result for Newt in Michigan… being he didn’t even try at all there. And I for one thought Newt came out a bit better than expected… in Arizona. But… still nothing to write home to mama about.  Lol

.

What’s Newt been up to of late!!!? Well… Newt has been spending most all his time this last week or so working on a must…  Having a GOOD SHOWING… during this upcoming Super Tuesday.

.

Super Tuesday is a week from today too, Tuesday, March 6th. I’d also mention that Georgia is one of the States up for grabs on Super Tuesday… and that just happens to be Newt’s Home State!  Which is where he was tonight and while there gave a pretty good speech too.

(I’ll have that video link posted up HERE sometime Wednesday. Update: SORRY! Couldn't find one anywhere... Oh well... Was a good speech. For now though check out NEWT's Energy Speech in Post above this one.)

Soooo… Basically… what we have now is some must wins coming up for Newt next week if we are to have any chance, at all, in staying in this race… and Winning!
