Tonight’s third and final Presidential Debate will start at 8:00pm CDT and will be moderated by CBS Newsman Bob Schieffer.

Going into tonight’s Debate... a poll released today by Reuters, C-SPAN and Zogby shows Obama with just a 4-point national lead over McCain.

This latest four-day tracking poll, among likely U.S. voters, shows Obama leading McCain 48% to 44%. They say this poll has a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points... but the way I see it... if McCain is within 8 to possibly even 10 points of Obama... McCain WINS!!!

I don’t know about you but I sure am hoping Senator McCain brings up, in detail, the Ayers-Obama connection tonight. I for one see it as MORE than just questionable judgment on Obama’s part... but a sure sign of just how Obama thinks and what he REALLY believes in...

Well... It’s now after 10:00 pm CDT and the Debate is over.

I don't know about you... but I for one enjoyed it! By the look at times on Obama’s face... I’d say I surely enjoyed it much more than he.

Now... who won the debate tonight? I’d say... “Joe the Plumber” did! And that should help move the Polls up, over the next few days, for Senator John McCain.

Senator John McCain spent this morning talking to members of the Administration, members of the Senate, and members of the House. He is reported to be optimistic that there has now been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement... now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations, including Representative Blunt as a designated negotiator for House Republicans.

With that said... the McCain Campaign is now resuming all activities and Senator John McCain will travel to Mississippi this afternoon to attend tonight’s debate at the University of Mississippi.

The debate is now over and it was a spirited one.
Who won??? I’d say... neither.

If we see a move in the poles... it will not be from tonight’s debate but from what has gone down in Washington over the past week and what comes out of it this weekend.

I believe a move in the polls, one way are the other, should show itself by this coming Wednesday. Then we should have a handle on how things are going to be going for both Campaigns into the Biden, Palin VP Debate next Thursday, Oct. 2nd.

I did like my man tonight though, overall...

He can’t help being who he is. Older, wiser... than yet not as exciting as one would wish he could be!

USNews.com brings us this report today and it goes in part like this... Both said they would begin withdrawals of U.S. troops soon after taking office and would move quickly to end the war. They didn't leave themselves much room to change their minds even if the military situation were altered or U.S. commanders gave a different recommendation. This could make it more difficult for each of them to be flexible during the general-election campaign and, more important, as commander in chief... "Only through our commitment to withdraw will the Iraqis begin to do what they have failed to do all of these years," Clinton said. "We don't know what will happen if we withdraw. We know what won't happen if we don't." Obama said, "The president sets the mission. The generals and our troops carry out that mission."...

Amid a storm of criticism that Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate focused too heavily on “gotcha” questions and not enough on substance, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos defended his decision to ask Illinois Sen. Nielsen Media Research reported that nearly 11 million viewers tuned in for the first weeknight, primetime forum on a broadcast network...Many of those who watched, particularly supporters of Barack Obama, were horrified, however. Commenters lit up blogs to say the debate was dominated by petty issues; some said it was the worst debate ever...
