The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Jerimiah J. Veitch, 21, of Dibble, Okla., died June 21st in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck with a rocket propelled grenade. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
