The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. Andre Craig Jr., 24, of New Haven, Conn., died June 25th in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.
