* FOX NEWS had the following report originally posted on their website early in the afternoon on Wednesday 19th and it starts off like this… A top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya a "terrorist attack" for the first time -- a statement that publicly casts doubt on administration claims it was a "spontaneous" act… "Yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said during a Senate hearing Wednesday… Olsen echoed administration colleagues in saying U.S. officials have no specific intelligence about "significant advanced planning or coordination" for the attack… However, his statement goes beyond White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, saying the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate was spontaneous. He is the first top administration official to call the strike an act of terrorism…

Around 6:00pm CDT on Wednesday 19th the following explosive info came out… Fox News… obtained a three-page intelligence report showing that two days before the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, a statement incited "sons of Egypt" to pressure America to release the so-called blind sheikh "even if it requires burning the embassy down with everyone in it."… The web statement, apparently posted on Sept. 9, was in reference to the embassy in Egypt. It preceded a throng of demonstrators breaching the U.S. Embassy wall in Cairo, supposedly in protest over an anti-Islam film. Obama administration officials claim that attackers in Libya then took their cue from Cairo and seized the opportunity to attack the consulate in Benghazi…

30,000 Strong, Mostly Pro American March, Named “Rally to Save Benghazi”, Forced Members of the Ansar al-Sharia, (they’re the Militant Group Responsible for the Deaths of Stevens' and three others,) out of their strongholds in Benghazi Early Saturday Morning.
.
* Telegraph.co.uk brings us the following report that starts off like this… Up to four people were reported dead in clashes which broke out when the last and biggest militia was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning. Earlier, members of Ansar al-Sharia, the militant group accused of responsibility for Mr. Stevens' death, were forced out of their strongholds in the city The deaths and promises of retribution by militia leaders presage more trouble to come. But for the moment the headquarters of the freelance groups that have held sway in Benghazi since the revolution that toppled Col Muammar Gaddafi are claimed to be in the hands of police and army units loyal to the newly elected Prime Minister, Mustafa Abushagur… The protests in Benghazi on Friday evening, estimated at 30,000-strong, featured pro-American slogans and banners, unusual for demonstrations in Arab countries. Though many protesters said they were attending "for Benghazi, not for America", some held up placards commemorating Mr. Stevens, who lived in Benghazi last year while coordinating American support for the revolution…

US Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and Three Others Murdered During Attack on U.S. Consulate Compound in Benghazi

US Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens
Official State Department Portrait
.
At least 20 armed Muslim Protesters/MURDERERS stormed the U.S. Consulate Compound in Benghazi Tuesday supposedly angered over an American film that depicted the Prophet Mohammad as being a fraud and womanizer.
.
Around a dozen Americans were inside the Consulate at the time, guarded only by security provided by the Libyan Government. It’s been reported that for around 20 minutes, the Libyan guards fought valiantly, exchanging fire with the attackers who were also pitching firebombs inside.
.
The Libyan Security Team, our supposed friends, really did us much justice, (NOT) and by protocol MOVED our Ambassador and others to another more secure building for safety after the initial wave of protests had begun. THEN… some of the members of the Libyan Security Team went out of their way and TOLD the murderous armed mob where the hell they had just MOVED our Ambassador and the others!!!  The rest is sadly history… Four are dead… including our Ambassador.
.
It’s also worth noting that on this same day, Tuesday, September 11, 2012, yes… the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks… Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo… tearing down and burning the American flag and replacing it with an Islamic banner!
.
I’m sorry, but I do not care what others might say on this… But I truly believe this was a well timed, coordinated attack on America. This WAS as close to an Act of War on this Great Country of Ours as you can get! Even other U.S. officials are now saying that the attacks were not the result of a protest against an anti-Islam film but instead a coordinated terrorist attack timed for the 11th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. And I do so agree…

 Tuesday, February 22, 2011
.
* HeraldScotland.com brings us the following report that starts off like this... Libya last night fell back on “scorched earth” tactics as the dying regime of Colonel Gaddafi ordered warplanes to bomb its own capital in an increasingly bloody bid to hang on to power... Eyewitnesses said the military was attacking Tripoli from the skies as protesters surged closer to breaking Muammar Gaddafi’s 40-year grip on power... Local resident Adel Mohamed Saleh said: “What we are witnessing is unimaginable... Warplanes and helicopters are indiscriminately bombing one area after another. There are many dead. Our people are dying. It is the policy of scorched earth. Every 20 minutes they are bombing.”...

About this News Video: The future of Libya appears to be on a knife-edge. The military's taking on the people in the streets of the capital, Tripoli, and high-level diplomats are deserting the Gaddafi regime. But now the man himself has appeared on national TV to dispel rumors that he's getting out. And that's going to make things more difficult for the mounting calls for international action... Al Jazeera's Stefanie Dekker reports.

About this news video: Colonel Gaddafi addressed Libya today in a televised speech and said in part that he will "die as a martyr" in the country. The above video is just a small part of this speech that seemed more like a rant that kept going on forever.

Pakistan Frees Nuclear Weapons Proliferator Abdul Qadeer Khan

The Wrath of Khan begins
Saturday, February 07, 2009
.
WashingtonPost.com had this article up on their website Friday evening and it starts off like this... Early yesterday, [Friday] the Pakistani scientist at the center of one of history's worst nuclear scandals walked out of his Islamabad villa to declare his vindication after five years of house arrest. "The judgment, by the grace of God, is good," a smiling Abdul Qadeer Khan told a throng of reporters and TV crews... Moments earlier, a Pakistani court had ordered the release of the metallurgist who had famously admitted selling nuclear secrets to Iran, Libya and North Korea. Through years of legal limbo, Khan, 72, had never been charged, and now he never will be. "The so-called A.Q. Khan affair is a closed chapter," a Pakistani government spokesman said...In Washington, the news sparked criticism but little surprise...

CBSNews.com brings us this story and it goes in part like this... Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi is the latest to feel the verbal wrath of al Qaeda, in a new audio tape from the terror group's number-two man, Ayman al-Zawahri... In it, he claims a Libyan terror organization has linked arms with al Qaeda to overthrow Libya's political leaders, in retaliation for what it says is the African nation's closer ties to the West...

United States Close To Agreement On Nuclear Medicine Center In Libya - Has No Plans For Libya’s Broader Nuclear Energy Development Wishes

I do not know about you but I for one believe this is about some of the best underreported news out there today. For one it flys right in the face of the way the Dems are trying to... and have in the past... run foreign policy and two it shows that our President is mostly correct on his foreign policy practices and the way he has gone about them. This story on Libya is word up proof of it.

In any case... it is most certainly good news for the people of Libya and it is good for us because it has made our country safer in the overall process of getting Libya to see the light and to stand down as a Terrorist State.

Here are three stories I’d like you to click out. They seem to me to tie everything together into one nice package... You can make up your own mind on it...

>>> SMH.com.au has this story that starts off like this... The United States says it is close to agreeing with Libya to co-operate on a nuclear medicine centre, but has no plans for the kind of broad nuclear energy development Tripoli has suggested.

US Cautious on Libya

>>> Middle-East-Online.com writes it this way... Libya may approach the United States for talks on constructing the country's first nuclear power plant, a senior official indicated on Monday... The government "has given the green light to enter into negotiations on this question and to discuss with the United States with the aim of reaching an agreement on developing and cooperating on the peaceful use of nuclear power," a senior official said on condition of anonymity...

Libya may ask for US help on nuclear power

>>> Aljazeera.net has their take on the story that goes in part like this... [African nation's official news agency,] Jana said on Monday that the General People's Committee, the Libyan parliamentary body, had given approval for the foreign ministry to sign a deal with the US the day before... There was no immediate confirmation of the deal from the US, but any such agreement would continue a considerable thawing of relations between the two countries...
Read their take on this story at link below...
US 'to build Libyan nuclear plant'

And last but least... somehow this article seems to me to tie the main point I’m trying to make all together....
>>> TownHall.com has this read by David Limbaugh that goes in part like this... We all know what the Democrats oppose in the war, but after all this time, do we know what they are for??? They are against the war in Iraq, and they are opposed to most of the tools the administration has used to prosecute the war on terror. They are against much of the Patriot Act, the NSA domestic surveillance program, the trial of enemy combatants in military tribunals, tough interrogation techniques, Gitmo and Bush's harsh language against the "evildoers.”... They are against "unilateralism" when they mistakenly think Bush has employed it (in the build-up to the Iraq attack) and against multilateralism when Bush is obviously employing it (Iraq [I believe he meant Iran,] and North Korea).
Read the rest below...
Dems Can Cut and Run, But They Can't Hide

I’ll end this post by saying I believe the Dems... and most of the MSM out there... will not mention these Libya stories simply because it makes the American people remember some of the successes of the Bush administration... and the failures of the Dems with no working ideas at all.
Sad -- Isn’t it?
