UPDATE: Mideast Protesters that killed Stevens' and three others found to be Al-Qaeda - Saturday a 30,000 Strong Mostly Pro American March Forced Members of the Ansar al-Sharia out of their strongholds in Benghazi

* FOX NEWS had the following report originally posted on their website early in the afternoon on Wednesday 19th and it starts off like this… A top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya a "terrorist attack" for the first time -- a statement that publicly casts doubt on administration claims it was a "spontaneous" act… "Yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said during a Senate hearing Wednesday… Olsen echoed administration colleagues in saying U.S. officials have no specific intelligence about "significant advanced planning or coordination" for the attack… However, his statement goes beyond White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, saying the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate was spontaneous. He is the first top administration official to call the strike an act of terrorism…

Around 6:00pm CDT on Wednesday 19th the following explosive info came out… Fox News… obtained a three-page intelligence report showing that two days before the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, a statement incited "sons of Egypt" to pressure America to release the so-called blind sheikh "even if it requires burning the embassy down with everyone in it."… The web statement, apparently posted on Sept. 9, was in reference to the embassy in Egypt. It preceded a throng of demonstrators breaching the U.S. Embassy wall in Cairo, supposedly in protest over an anti-Islam film. Obama administration officials claim that attackers in Libya then took their cue from Cairo and seized the opportunity to attack the consulate in Benghazi…

-- Early Saturday Morning: September 22, 2012 --
30,000 Strong, Mostly Pro American March, Named “Rally to Save Benghazi”, Forced Members of the Ansar al-Sharia, (they’re the Militant Group Responsible for the Deaths of Stevens' and three others,) out of their strongholds in Benghazi Early Saturday Morning.
.
* Telegraph.co.uk brings us the following report that starts off like this… Up to four people were reported dead in clashes which broke out when the last and biggest militia was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning. Earlier, members of Ansar al-Sharia, the militant group accused of responsibility for Mr. Stevens' death, were forced out of their strongholds in the city… The deaths and promises of retribution by militia leaders presage more trouble to come. But for the moment the headquarters of the freelance groups that have held sway in Benghazi since the revolution that toppled Col Muammar Gaddafi are claimed to be in the hands of police and army units loyal to the newly elected Prime Minister, Mustafa Abushagur… The protests in Benghazi on Friday evening, estimated at 30,000-strong, featured pro-American slogans and banners, unusual for demonstrations in Arab countries. Though many protesters said they were attending "for Benghazi, not for America", some held up placards commemorating Mr. Stevens, who lived in Benghazi last year while coordinating American support for the revolution…

US Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and Three Others Murdered During Attack on U.S. Consulate Compound in Benghazi

US Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens
Official State Department Portrait
.
At least 20 armed Muslim Protesters/MURDERERS stormed the U.S. Consulate Compound in Benghazi Tuesday supposedly angered over an American film that depicted the Prophet Mohammad as being a fraud and womanizer.
.
Around a dozen Americans were inside the Consulate at the time, guarded only by security provided by the Libyan Government. It’s been reported that for around 20 minutes, the Libyan guards fought valiantly, exchanging fire with the attackers who were also pitching firebombs inside.
.
The Libyan Security Team, our supposed friends, really did us much justice, (NOT) and by protocol MOVED our Ambassador and others to another more secure building for safety after the initial wave of protests had begun. THEN… some of the members of the Libyan Security Team went out of their way and TOLD the murderous armed mob where the hell they had just MOVED our Ambassador and the others!!!  The rest is sadly history… Four are dead… including our Ambassador.
.
It’s also worth noting that on this same day, Tuesday, September 11, 2012, yes… the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks… Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo… tearing down and burning the American flag and replacing it with an Islamic banner!
.
I’m sorry, but I do not care what others might say on this… But I truly believe this was a well timed, coordinated attack on America. This WAS as close to an Act of War on this Great Country of Ours as you can get! Even other U.S. officials are now saying that the attacks were not the result of a protest against an anti-Islam film but instead a coordinated terrorist attack timed for the 11th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. And I do so agree…

Iran: On Ground Updates - December 29, 2009

Iran: On Ground Updates
A government that can only stay in power by shooting its own people in the streets and blocking their communication with the outside world is in serious trouble...

. Iran Map by DoD-CENTCOM
.
* The bloody events of recent days in Iran have demonstrated the repressive nature of the regime and the deep discontent surfacing in a country denied democratic freedoms. A government that can only stay in power by shooting its own people in the streets and blocking their communication with the outside world is in serious trouble...

There is still time to foil Iran's bomb plot
.
* Our friends at the Debka.com website had the following good read posted up on their website on the 28th... Iranian sources reveal that Mir Hossein Mousavi's nephew, Ali Habib, was not shot dead during a Tehran demonstration Sunday, Dec. 27, as reported, but waylaid and gunned down as he left his home. Fresh riots followed the disappearance of the body from the hospital Monday. The episode became even more ominous when Iran's security services Chief Gen. Radan accused Mousavi of the murder to incite further violence. The opposition fears that the murder of Mousavi's nephew augurs physical liquidations of its leaders... The current upsurge of violence across Iran is the most dangerous yet because for the first time demonstrators are turning round to attack security forces, the Revolutionary Guardsmen and Basijj paramilitaries...

.
Well... The above point a view by William Hague at the Telegraph.co.uk website pretty much sums the events up over the last so many days in Iran! Sadly... sanctions are a year or two too late and I believe only military action by Israel will bring this mess to a halt... and for at least 3 to 5 years.
.
Only then will we AGAIN... have the breathing room to give the Iranian people a chance to make a Regime Change within their government... One that the west and the rest of the world can live with.
.
Bottom line is there is a time when blood must be shed... Look at what is going on in the streets of Iran over the last so many days... The people of Iran have made their minds up and the time for CHANGE is NOW!
.
Light ‘em up, Israel!!!
History’s calling...

The Iranian Uprising
Wednesday, June 24, 2009
.

* AP brings us the following report early this Wednesday afternoon and it starts off like this… Protesters and riot police clashed in the streets around Iran's parliament Wednesday as hundreds of people converged on a Tehran square in defiance of government orders to halt demonstrations demanding a new presidential election, witnesses said… Police beat the protesters gathered on Baharestan Square with batons and fired tear gas canisters and rounds of ammunition into the air, the witnesses told The Associated Press. They said some demonstrators fought back while others fled to another Tehran plaza, Sepah Square, about a mile (2 kilometers) to the north… A helicopter could be seen hovering over central Tehran, where a witness told the AP that the area was swarming with hundreds of riot police who were trying to prevent people from gathering even briefly. Thousands more security officers filled the surrounding streets, said the witness, who declined to give his name for fear of government reprisals… Amateur video posted Wednesday on YouTube showed young men and women throwing rocks and pushing barricades, one blazing, in the street. Others shouted: "Death to the dictator!"…

* FoxNews.com brings us the following report and it starts off like this… Protesters in Iran are hailing 26-year-old Neda Soltan as a martyr after graphic videos of her apparent murder at a protest in Tehran hit the Internet. Videos posted on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter show her bleeding from the nose and mouth as a crowd tries unsuccessfully to stanch the flow and save her life… The video also shows a moving clip of a man identified by some as her father or professor cradling her head and yelling out, "Neda, don't be afraid.
