In case you missed NEWT in last night’s Alabama Republican Party candidate forum, between he and Rick, at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham… Or maybe you just wish to watch it again…  Here it is, again, below
.
Newt Steals Show at Alabama GOP Forum
Video just over 30 minutes long and well worth the watch
This Video posted on YouTube by ngingrich

.
Well… The people have again spoken tonight and sadly, my man NEWT isn’t the ONE!
.
Newt just had to have a good showing tonight to keep him in this run for the White House. Sadly… a good showing we didn’t have. In either Alabama or Mississippi!
.
Come to think of it… Last week’s “Super Tuesday” pretty much set the way for tonight’s bad showing by Newt! I mean… he should have picked up several WINs last week, but sadly Newt only came away with ONE. That right there should have told us all we needed to know about any kind of a NEWT future in this Presidential Race. Bottom Line… Newt’s future in this RACE!!!? Not so much…
.
Soooo…
Sorry, NEWT… TIME!
.
Yes… I’m afraid it is time for you to MAN UP and fold from this 2012 Presidential Race. By doing so now… You can leave like the others who have gone before you… with head held high… with honor and grace.
.
For your part in this election cycle, Mr. Gingrich, I do so TRULY thank you… It really has been a FUN ride with all KINDS of ups and downs… smiles and frowns.
.
With that said… As of tonight, I am going to have to drop ALL of my support for Newt. Breaks my heart to do so too...
.
As of tonight, right now…
I announce my FULL SUPPORT for Mitt Romney!!!
The NEXT President of the United States!

Alabama Republican Party to host Presidential Forum Monday, March 12th - Gingrich/Santorum have confirmed their attendance - Romney/Paul invited… Have yet to commit

The Alabama Republican Party will host a Presidential Forum this Monday, March 12th at the Alabama Theater in Birmingham and it will start at 5:30pm sharp. (I’m happy to report that C-SPAN WILL be airing this event live at 5:30pm CDT.)
Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have confirmed their attendance and even though Romney and Paul have also been invited… neither has yet to commit.
.
There will be between 2,000 - 2,500 seats available at no charge and on a first come first serve basis… Doors will open at 3:30pm..
.
Monday’s Forum will not be a debate. It will be more along the lines of what Mike Huckabee had on the Fox News Channel just the other weekend.
.
If I’m correct… each candidate will have around 20 minutes to talk to the people in hopes of swaying their votes. Then following their closing arguments… there will be a short question-and-answer segment with a small group of panelist. Should be a good one to watch!
.
With that said… Tuesday, March 13th is going to be a BIG DAY for ALL the Candidates… Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum especially!
.
Yes… On Tuesday, March 13th… we have the Alabama/Mississippi Primaries and the Hawaii Caucuses. Alabama and Mississippi will have a total of 90 Delegates up for grabs… Or… Alabama will weigh in with 50 Delegates and Mississippi will be weighing in with 40. Hawaii will have 20 Delegates up for grabs too. MUCH more to come on this in NEW Post Tuesday…

.
………………..
.
Update: 7:15pm CDT
.
You GO NEWT!
Yes sir… Newt was just awesome this evening!  RICK… Not so much.
I’d sum this evening’s Forum up this way…
Newt… Commander-in-Chief!
Rick… Preacher-in Chief.

CNN Arizona Republican Presidential Debate - February 22, 2012

Newt Gingrich image from his official campaign website
Post Date: Thursday, February 23, 2012
.
Last night’s CNN Arizona Republican Presidential Debate was held in Mesa, Arizona at the Mesa Arts Center. It should be noted that it was being promoted as, most likely, the LAST of the Republican Debates for this 2012 election year. Hope not… but we shall see.
.
I thought last night was not as it was in the last Debate back on January 26th in Florida. Nowhere near it… Wednesday’s Debate wasn’t anywhere near as fiery for one… but it did have its moments.\
.
What fireworks we did see last night wasn’t between Newt and Mitt… but instead between Rick and Mitt and… Ron Paul!
.
Ron especially took after Rick early on in the Debate and never let up. But I did notice that Ron seemed to have very little powder in his gun towards Newt and didn’t hit Mitt overly hard last night either.
.
Winners and Losers

    - Rick Santorum had a really BAD night! And I’m pretty sure his poll numbers are fixing to TANK and his run at the top is over.
.
    - Newt Gingrich on the other hand had a real good night and I’m sure we will soon see it so in the polls. Looks to me like this is fixing to be a race, again… between he and Mitt! From what I saw last night, Newt looked and acted above the fray and seemed to keep himself on top of EVERYTHING! GREAT JOB, NEWT!
Click out Video, Twitter Highlights from last night’s Debate HERE
.
    - Mitt Romney had a good night, but he too had his poor showing moments.
.
    - Ron Paul… well… He’s RON PAUL! Lol… and yes… Take away his take on Foreign Policies, and I’d have to say he too did, OK.
.
So Bottom Line...
WINNER: NEWT GINGRICH!!!
LOSER: RICK SANTORUM
Rick really KILLED himself last night and shot his way right out of this race..
……………….
Just one more round of voting to go this month and that will be on Tuesday, February 28th with the Arizona, Michigan Primaries.
