A vehicle borne explosive device detonated outside Forward Operating Base Warhorse near Baqouba, Iraq, June 3.

The attack occurred in the vicinity of an entry control point, but did not cause any damage to the entrance or the base.

Following the VBIED attack, there was an unconfirmed report of off-color smoke in the vicinity of the explosion and a number of Soldiers reported minor respiratory irritations and watery eyes. The Soldiers were treated by Coalition Forces medical personnel on base and all were returned to duty.

There were no casualties from the VBIED attack. There are no civilian casualties reported at this time. The incident is currently under investigation.
