Army General John Abizaid speaks out

A word from Army General John Abizaid, Commander of U.S. Central Command..........
“The insurgents are in a NO-WIN situation. They can cause casualties, they can grab headlines, but as long as the politics move forward, they cannot win.”

I am glad our country had a man as president when the sun rose on August 11, 2001. Never once has our leader flinched. Sure he has made mistakes, OK, critics of Bush, scour through history and find me a war where no one got hurt or killed. Which President was that. Roosevelt? FDR was in the White House when Japan killed so many. He sent several million men and woman all over the globe......without UN approval, and we won. If Ted Kennedy had been president on that day, there would have been many more attacks here in our homeland, because he is a coward and a fat slob to boot. You can't defend your country with drunken rhetoric.
We are going to win this brutal war against Terrorism, and I will be there in my wheel chair if necessary cheering our nations returning warriors.

I’m with you “web_loafer.” President Bush has not flinched on anything since 9-11. I mean nothing.

Now many will tell you that this is a good thing and just as many will tell you that this is not so good but I will tell you that at least the man will not put his finger to the political winds to make a decision. And in these days of politics… to do that does take a real man………

I’ll end by saying that like you, I too will be waiting for THEIR DAY to cheer all those brave men and women returning home from war……
