Kerry is at it again

John Kerry says he intends to confront Congress this Monday with a document, (The Downing Street Memo) hailed by critics of Bush as evidence that he did commit impeachable crimes by falsifying evidence of WMD in Iraq.

The Downing Street Memo, first reported on May 1 by the London Times, is said to be the minutes of a July 2002 meeting where Blair allegedly admitted that the Bush administration fixed Iraq intelligence to manufacture a rationale for war. The British memo, however, contains no quotes from either Bush or Blair, and is notably slim on evidence implicating Bush in a WMD cover-up.

When will these guys ever learn???? The 2006 elections are right around the corner and most sane Americans are sick and tired of this kind of CRAP!!!!! Keep digging a hole my Democratic friends. It’s just keeps getting deeper and deeper…. Read more at NewsMax.Com and csmonitor.com. Now if you realy want to have some fun just type in "The Downing Street Memo" into your favorite search engine and let the BS begain!!!!

That memo really amounts to very little. The harshest thing any reasonable person could take away is that, perhaps the Bush administration used a little too many marketing techniques to sell the war. They had some clear, compelling reasons, but they didn't know if they'd sell well to the American people and the world. So they emphasized the WMD. Now, that was ok because every intelligence agency in the world thought Iraq had WMD. They were all wrong, but Bush didn't "lie."

Anyway, we already knew Bush used marketing techniques to sell the war. I'd have preferred that they didn't because I think it created a lot of confussion in some people's minds as to why we went there. But is an over-adherence to marketing an impeachable offense? Hell no. Not even close.

If Kerry goes through with this, whatever little credibility he had left will be gone.

John Kerry-- If he keeps it up, his credibility will be out the window. Yet again I don't think he has a lot of that left anyway. I wonder when Howard Dean is going to get into the act... More than likely this Monday I would guess. This kind of misleading junk is right up his ALLEY!!!!!
