Two Insurgent groups ready to talk

An Iraqi politician disclosed that two insurgent groups, (the Islamic Army in Iraq and the Army of Mujahideen, or holy warriors,) were ready to open talks with the government and eventually lay down their arms and join the political process. Even though this could not be confirmed by the Iraqi government, one way or the other it at least sounds like something just might be going on here. And if this is so… Boy would that be good news.
