Statement from Secretary Rumsfeld Regarding the Death of Four Boy Scout Leaders at Fort A. P. Hill

I offer my condolences to the families of the victims of Monday's accidentat the
Boy Scout Jamboree... Scouting has a special place in American society, and the
Defense Department's relationship with the scouts is long-standing and enduring.
The jamboree is a wonderful celebration of that tradition and of that
relationship... My thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by this
terrible accident, and with the Boy Scouts of America at this time of loss.
I wish to also offer my condolences to the families of the victims of Monday's Jamboree accident... Read more on accident at: CNN.com
