Late this afternoon, by a vote of 232- 187, the House voted to end a quarter-century long Offshore Drilling Ban. All I can say is YEAH!!!!!!! But getting this sucker through the Senate is going to be another story. One can hope...

"This is not about oil companies," insist Rep. John Peterson. "This is about America competing. ... We're the only society that has said we're going to lock up our resources."
