Taliban Leader Killed in Afghanistan

A Taliban leader named Qari Amadullah was killed on August 9th, during heavy fighting with Afghan National Army soldiers and U. S. paratroopers assigned to the 1st battalion, 508th (Airborne) Infantry Regiment. Five other militants were killed and three U. S. servicemembers were wounded. Afghan and U. S. forces were conducting operations in the area near the city of Wazikwa in eastern Afghanistan, designed to kill or capture Taliban leaders.
Sounds to me like they’re doing a good job of it......
